How does one open a new tab from a path copied on the clipboard? I think I am going crazy trying to understand how. (This has got to be something that is better documented please.)

Also, how do we make it so that File Explorer isn't opening 30% of the time it had been previously to installing OC? The whole point of my buying OC was to get away from .

Thank you!

Press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+T
or press \
and the first item in the list will be the path from clipboard.

Explorer shouldn't be opening, unless the 3rd party program is explicitly requesting Explorer.exe, in which case OC can't intercept the request.

Hey thanks Milos. I couldn't find that shortcut... or looking in the wrong places.

My Explorer opens at least 30 times a day. When I click the Explorer icon it opens OC.

I've been trying to find if Windows 11 logs what program or file opened different applications e.g., Explorer with no luck.

I'll keep hunting it down.

Thanks again! Love your product!

I see now that help manual under About>Help still shows Ctrl+Shift+T (omitting Alt), but I had to change it since that shortcut is for "Undo close tab" in browsers, so I added that to be the same and I had to add Alt to that .

I am not aware of any explorer logs that will show there, but it should be consistent. For example using "Everything" app, Open containing folder menu should OC, but something like "Bandizip" (if I remembered correctly) will always open Explorer even if OC is set as default.
Explorer will still open on folders that OC cannot open, like control panel items, printers, and other non-filesystem items.
