I encountere an issue with OneCommander where selecting a FLAC file shows album art and playback controls; however, clicking the play button results in no playback.  Here is an example below.  I click the button and nothing happens:

I am now realizing this it does work depending on the selected tab.  Notice above that I have the "1999, The Anthology" tab selected.  Within this tab it absolutely does not work.

When I click the tab farthest to the right ("2024, Thalassophobia"), it does work:

This is the latest version installed (3.98.1.0 PRO).  I am finally realizing that playback does nothing depending on the selected tab.  I previously thought FLAC playback did not work at all.

Shortly after I had faced this issue, playback then worked from the tab it was not working.  I had received no errors, but clicking the play button resulted in no action.  Now clicking play is resulting in no action.  I am not sure what is causing this issue, but it is repeatable for me.

Media playback relies completely on WIndows system codecs, so if WIndows Media Player can play it (or you install separate codec that Media Player understands), then OC will also play it. V4 will get some 3rd party playback that won't rely on Windows Media components being installed, but until I implement it, I won't know what is supported (no custom codecs are planned on my side, as that is well beyond time I have or knowledge of media decoding, so whatever the library I use supports that will work)

Windows 11 does play FLACs.  Media Player plays them with no problem.  OneCommander does not in most cases as I shared.  It plays successfully only sporadically.  Is there logging I can enable to show the issue?

I enabled all logging options, reproduced the issue, and am now attaching the log file.

Here is a screenshot of Windows Media Player successfully playing the same file I attempted to play using OneCommander:

If there is a BETA version of 4 available for testing, I can confirm whether or not this issue has been resolved.

The bug is with reusing the same player to play several files. Maybe if you drop file A, then B, and then again A it would also stop playing. Media Player it made for web also, and # means something else in web world, so I guess they didn't figure out all the cases and caauses some issues.
First beta of v4 will not have new player, but by the end of the year I hope to get to the player also
