Hello,

Just recently, I noticed trouble with OC not creating new tabs via the + button on the tab bar...Essentially, I click on the button and nothing happens, then the error message pops up on the bottom of the OC window...FYI, I upgraded from OC 3.96.0.0 to OC 3.101.0.0 a couple of days ago...

As a result, I proceeded to check out the OC log and here's what I found:

First thing I noticed was "Make sure synchronization or security software are not blocking access." Based on this, here's a list of the Sync and Security software I currently have installed:
I think we can rule out MalwareBytes Ultimate and Sophos HitManProAlert, as I have had no trouble with them and OC at all...As for Reflect X and SyncBackPro, while I have had no trouble at all with them and OC in the past, I just recently upgraded SyncBackPro and I recently re-configured Reflect X extensively as well...

In terms of Image Guardian, it is actually an anti-Ransomware feature within Reflect X...With that said, my money is on Image Guardian...I could possibly turn it off, but the safety and security of my Image archives is paramount to me...

I hope there is some equitable solution to this situation...As important as the security and safe-keeping of my data is, I need to have the ability to work with OC...To remove it from my workflow would be like losing my right hand!

Yes, there is always Windows Explorer and other file browsers out there, but I have come to fully appreciate OC for all it has to offer...

Thank you for your time and potential assistance with this issue...It is most appreciated...I look forward to your reply when you have a chance...

Is that C:\Programs under the path that syncing software is managing?

Paste this in address bar to get to that file
C:\Programs\OneCommander 3.101.0.0\Settings\TabsPersonal1.json
onece it is selected
press ctrl+shift+alt+i and the bottom look for "no lock" or the name of program that is locking the file

Now that issue is weird because that is only about saving the tabs, the creating of tabs should still work even if it can't be saved.

Does adding item to favorite and restarting the program preserve the file and show that error in log just for favorites.json? It uses the same secure file.replace as saving tabs so it "should" fail in the same way

Hello,

Thank you for your recent reply...I really appreciate your assistance...

I rolled back to 3.96.0.0...No errors...

Since I am in the middle of getting a new system up and running, I am going to temporarily suspend my debugging efforts and stick with 3.96.0.0 for now...

Thanks again for your support...
