Results of Copy/Move don't show up for 10 seconds or so

I use the two pane view, one on top, one below (not sure what that's called). Used to be, when I moved or copied a Folder from one to the other, it was shown instantly. As soon as I made the drop, the new folder showed it was there, and it was gone from the other folder.

Starting a couple months ago, it now takes at least 5-10 seconds before it shows. I believe it is still being moved instantly. But I can sit and watch the folders, and it is many seconds before they are updated on the screen. These are not large folders, and the size doesn't matter. Even small ones show this behavior.

I can't think of anything I have changed to make this happen. It's a very fast PC, a Dell XPS with super-fast SSD drives, that have lots of space (less than 1/3 used).

Any clues what could be causing this?

Is OC in focus (foreground window) or something else steals it? OC uses windows filesystemwatcher to monitor for changes, and flushes changes every half a second, unless it is not in foreground, then it is every few.

Yes, it has focus. Literally nothing else running at the time.

Local disk? Any folder?

In settings advanced turn on LogDetailedMessages

open folder that is slow to refresh
open OC log and see if there is error message with file system watcher

Here's the log. I copied a file, and it happened again. It copied it, the message at the bottom said "success" or something, but it took about 4-5 seconds before it showed it.

No issue with filesystemwatcher then. If you have Pro Windows, try the same workflow in Windows Sandbox. Try downloading porable version somewhere, close current one and try the downloaded one.
