Feature Request - Preview on Hover

Hi - I like to open a file with a single click.

However, I sometimes want to preview a file in the preview pane, and the only way for this to happen is to click on the file, which obviously opens it. Any chance of having a preview when the mouse hovers over the file, as in Windows Explorer, please?
