It would be awesome to have a settings option to toggle what text is displayed in the task bar.
I at least would benefit a lot from seeing only the name of the "saved window"/workspace that a window belongs to instead of the tab name that's open in that window. I often have 5 "saved windows" open, one each for different projects, and end up having to cycle through them sometimes to find the one I want. The feature might be useful to others too.

Instead of "To Edit", it'd be "Personal" for the first window, and instead of "Point Cloud" it'd be "21-541 [description]" for the second window.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will add it as an optional setting soon

Is this feature working as intended on my end? I can only see the first few letters of window name overlayed on top of the oneCommander taskbar icon which makes it not as useful as I was first assuming.   Bottom right side of picture is capture from my taskbar.

I'm not sure if I need to enable another setting.

Unfortunately Windows taskbar icons overlays have fixed size so it shows only as much as it can fit on it. There is no way to change the Taskbar icon overlay sizes.
I personally use ExplorerPatcher in Windows 11 to make it look like Windows 10 and disable grouping to see the actual window names, but what you see there is the best that was possible with limitations of Windows 11 taskbar.
