In my installation, copy/paste (CTRL-C/CTR-V) and rename operations on a file always converts the filename to all uppercase. Is this a bug or a feature?

I can't reproduce it. There is nothing in code that will make that happen so there must be something on your Windows that causes this

Thank you for checking and clarifying. I could localize it, it happens only when working in Sharepoint directories accessed through the driver from konnekt.io (Welcome - KONNEKT).
Just FYI: the problem does not occur in Windows File Explorer.

Is the problem happening in the clipboard or upon pasting the rename text or after you exit the rename dialog? If it's the clipboard I could make a script work around.

I don't have access to any sharepoint to try. If I find some sharepoint drive I can try the trial version of the Konnekt to see what OC is actually getting, but it does sound weird, especially since OC let's windows shell directly handle copy/paste so it shouldn't behave differently than Explorer
