Environment

  • One Commander 3.104.0.0

  • QuickLook 4.2.2 (Microsoft Store version)

  • Windows 11

Issue

When using QuickLook as the preview handler, pressing Space to close the preview after interacting with the preview window causes the preview to close and immediately reopen.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Select any file in One Commander

  2. Press Space to open QuickLook preview

  3. Interact with the preview (e.g., click, select text, drag video progress bar)

  4. Press Space again

Actual Behavior

The preview closes and instantly reopens.

Expected Behavior

Pressing Space should close the preview only and should not reopen it.

Did you try killing QuickLook  in task manager and opening it again? That is a known bug of QuickLook and restarting it fixes it.

I just tried it, but it didn’t work — the bug still exists.

I used to run QuickLook 3.7 but now I updated and tested with 4.2.2 and it still works. I used their exe installer, everything left to default.
