Thank you for the great work on OneCommander — it’s a fantastic file manager and I use it daily.

I’d like to request a small usability feature:
**An option to hide the file extension when renaming files**, similar to how Windows Explorer behaves when the "Hide extensions for known file types" setting is enabled.

Currently, OneCommander always shows the full file name including the extension when renaming, which increases the risk of accidentally modifying or deleting the extension.

It would be helpful to have an option like:
☑ Hide extension when renaming files

Or alternatively, automatically selecting only the file name (excluding the extension) when pressing F2 would improve usability a lot.

Thank you for considering this request!

Best regards,

I'll add it to my todo list, but F2 should already open rename dialog with only extensions selected. If you press f2 while in rename dialog it will toggle between selecting just the name or just the extension
