conversion of selected text

Is it possible to extend the choises for selected text (Cut, Copy Paste) with:: convert to lower case / convert to capital text?

You didn't specify if you meant from preview or name popups or similar, but regardless it is very specific, and not many people would need it, so that won't be implemented. Look for the destination program for that text if they want to add it, or there are clipboard managers that can do the conversion
