Doesn't display ALL thumbnails of photos or videos

There is a problem with displaying thumbnails in folders. Constantly one or two thumbnails do not load even though I have been in this folder a hundred times. You have to exit the folder and come back again for these thumbnails to appear. This problem makes it impossible to use the program normally.

Is there any solution to this problem?

Is it local folder or cloud synchronized, network, symlinked... or anything else weird? Do you have enabled Settings>Preview>Use local thumbs. Specific file type? Do you have any image/video viewer that is replacing system thumbnail handler?

I was having variations of this problem too. The solution is to install all the Media Foundation Codecs https://www.codecguide.com/media_foundation_codecs.htm and K-Lite Codec Pack https://www.codecguide.com/about_kl.htm as modern Windows versions ship with only the bare minimum and so can't generate thumbnails for them.
