Changes:
  • Added QuickLook support (Enable in settings if you have QuickLook installed). this disables OC preview window (spacebar). Brought it from V2. Needs to be enabled in Settings>Preview
  • Rename file with a second click (without moving, as in File Explorer)
  • Window Grip triangle in the bottom right corner for easier resizing
  • Saving Sorting and selected File View per folder. Database for this is in \Settings\FolderView.db
  • View>Sorting, lets you change the default files sorting that will be applied to all folders
  • Drag&Drop from Outlook and some other programs will give it a proper name
  • Settings>General;Item Properties show an example file item and there is an explanation for File Age behind [?] button
  • Option to Extract all folder icons in case you use 3rd party programs that change folder icons
  • Fixed Enter key use for opening folders
  • Fixed resizing preview pane in Columns layout and maximized window
  • Other small improvements and bug fixes
Potential issues:
Please report if you have issues with program freezing or drives not listing, and if you do notice any, let me know if you have any external USB card readers. Some of those don't respond to checking if media is inserted and will freeze program waiting to respond. That was handled in previous version in a hacky way, which was improved, but I don't have an external SD card reader to test.

Download
Portable
(no installation; no auto updates; extract to a non-system folder and run .exe file)
(Link to zip will not work with some browser privacy addons, as hotlinking to zips is disabled; on issue, try a different browser)

ClickOnce installer (please copy/paste link TEXT as GGroups breaks it):

Hi Milos,

My OneCommander started crashing overnight. I have deleted it and tried installing v596 but it is still not launching.

I literally cannot function without it - do you have any suggestions perhaps.

Milos,

Not sure of the Report.wer file in the AppCrash Folder will help - see attached

Try renaming FolderViews.db from Settings folder to something else so OC can't find it
(if running ClickOnce version it is in C:\Users\YOURNAME\OneCommander)
and try starting it again. If it still crashes, try renaming one of the other files in there (it will force it to be regenerated). If you find a file that was causing the crash, you can rename back the other if you had settings changed, and please send me the renamed faulty file that was causing the issue it doesn't have sensitive information (support at programname dot com).
If program hangs instead of crashing you will need to terminate it in Task manager between renames.

I have found one issue in this version that could have caused program to crash, so other way would be to wait until I push the update in about 5 hours after this message.
