Please add a feature to the context menu that lets you add descriptions to files and folders. This will help me immediately identify the file and folder it's in. Thank you.

Only a few file types support descriptions, and each has a different way of doing it so that is not worth the effort, especially since some will lose it if you edit the file. There is no robust way to add descriptions or tags to files in Windows. Maybe there will be some thing in the future, but low priority as it would be improvisation. Folder descriptions will be added as that is stored in desktop.ini
