I'm sure these have been asked before, but I have not immediately been able to find the information.

I was hoping I was missing an option somewhere for this, but is it possible to make the contextual file operation buttons show in the main pane? The buttons are shown in red and the area I'd prefer them to be is in green. Basically, I'd prefer them to behave a bit more like the Windows 11 file explorer so I didn't have to retrain myself.

I'm also curious if I can show optical drives that currently contain no media. I have four optical drives and would like to know if they're accessible before I go putting in discs.

Thanks!

To add to this, is there a way to show network drives that aren't currently connected?

No, because most users have smaller screens, by default program has date and other columns there, and sort button above them so that can't fit there. Then only thing that can go there are view buttons (Setting>General>View editor at the bottom). Besides, that same files panel is for columns layout and there is definitely no space for that there.
Some future window layout will have another optional separate toolbar with buttons.
Use shortcuts.

I have not had an optical drive in a over 10 years, so if I find an external one I can check what can be done.
I don't see why an inactive drive should be visible. I have multi-card reader and Explorer shows 8 empty drives, but I don't see a point in showing something that can't be used. Do you have a usecase?

I have an inline USB on/off switch and sometimes have my optical drives disconnected because they occasionally misbehave and cause booting issues. Windows also sometimes decides to change their drive letters for some reason, so always being able to see them would help me. It's not the end of the world if I can't see them, but an option would be nice. I get that most people don't use them anymore, so it's kind of a niche scenario.

My coworker was curious about the disconnected drives. I actually like that it doesn't show them, but I see the appeal of having the option to do so.

Love OneCommander otherwise. Keep up the good work.
