Hi, a few days ago I tested OneCommander and I loved it, but I had a problem with its icon. It was confusing to me, so I decided to create my own with an orange tone and the letters ‘OC’ in black. Now I can easily distinguish it on my taskbar, so I wanted to humbly share it in case someone else likes it. That’s all.

Best regards ^^

I like this, it stands out. How do I make it work, active or not?

Nice job, thanks.

Ok, I changed it when it's not open. But it still shows the old blue one when it's open. How do I change that one?

PS: Make backup of that json file before making manual changes

I use the attached macOS Finder replacement icon (appicns_Finder.ico) for OneCommander.
People who have used macOS instinctively reach for Finder when dealing with files :-)
The original OC icon is very nice, I have to say, but everbody has their own setup.

The icon is from "minimalist flat icons" (https://appicns.com/), used to be $5 but now free.
Lots of great icons if you like flat and/or minimalist setups:)
It was converted from Apple .icns format to .ico using an online converter.
In the screenshot of the Taskbar below also alternate icons for firefox, notion, 1password, mpc (vlc icon) and slack, all
from the same icon collection above I believe.

I think I did this a few months back, and I zapped out my OC making this change. And I did it again! I use Backblaze, so I had a backup.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'll reply in the other thread, since it's more on-topic.

Thanks.
