Hi, obvs love the program!!

Apologies if this is obvious, but I couldn't find an answer....is there a way to customise date and time formats?

There are alternative format options in Settings/General. But no ability there to create a customised one (eg. I like dates as dd-mmm-yy). Or indeed an option to set OC formats to system formats would be useful (as I've set my system date format as indicated).

The help file suggest that there might have been an option in File View to do this, but there is also something that says it's been removed from the UI.

Thanks for any help and apologies if this is a dumb Q.

Try
Settings>Settings location
and go to
..\Resources\FileDesigns\YOURVIEW.json

then change
      "RenderElement": "DateTime",
...
      "StringFormat": "dd-mmm-yy",
Restart OC completely

Thanks for the reply and sorry for my delay ....

This worked almost perfectly - turns out I needed "StringFormat": "dd-MMM-yy".

Using "dd-mmm-yy" produced some weird results - like month numbers that were greater than 12! Not sure what was happening there.

Thanks again - much appreciated.
