OBA android app fail to properly display GTFS-RT service alerts, OBA trip updated are "flickering"

Dear all,

Using a service alerts feed I generated (http://stif.spiralo.net/STIF_ALERTS?debug), I have problems seeing disruptions in OBA android app (working as expected in webapp).

Indeed, I have no alert summary displayed, even the start of it, and when I choose one alert, I got no details (see screenshots).

What's the problem?

I also experience in both webapp and android app, a situation where real time trip updates are "flickering" (sometimes present, sometimes not), and I need to refresh data multiple times in a minute to get them back. That's a pretty poor experience (why not caching data until newer is usable?), and not linked to real time data as the feed is working as expected in OpenTripPlanner, giving continuous real time data.

OneBusAway webapp has the concept of a viewed alert. Once viewed, the alert drops down to the bottom of the screen. 

That may be you problem as service alerts are indeed cached server side.

Dear all, Sheldon,

My problem is that alerts are empty (empty window) whereas there's info in the feed.

And my other problem is that sometimes I got real time updates, sometimes not, whereas updates are still in the feed (I don't have this problem with OpenTripPlanner)

My GTFS-RT feed is currently here: http://stif.spiralo.net/STIF (add ?debug to have it plain text) for trip updates, and http://stif.spiralo.net/STIF_ALERTS for service alerts.
