Are you on Sprint or Nextel?

--

On April 1, TextMarks will stop delivering ad-supported messages to
Sprint/Nextel phones

As you might have seen in the news, starting on April 1st, Sprint/Nextel
will institute an additional charge for each text message sent by
businesses such as TextMarks. We are working with other companies in the
text messaging industry to try to convince Sprint to revert this charge,
but it seems unlikely that we will succeed. This additional fee is greater
than the revenues that can be generated by placing ads in the text
messages, so, unfortunately, we will be forced to stop delivering free
ad-supported messages to Sprint & Nextel subscribers unless this situation
is resolved. We will continue to deliver ad-supported text messages to
subscribers of Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and other wireless carriers.

This will only impact free, ad-supported keywords. Paid keywords will
continue to deliver to Sprint/Nextel customers, with no additional charges
passed on to our customers who send fewer than 30 messages per subscriber
per month.

If you have an ad-supported keyword but would like to continue to deliver
messages to your Sprint/Nextel subscribers, you can upgrade to one of our
new, unlimited message paid accounts, available at www.TextMarks.com. You
can also login to your account at lite.TextMarks.com, click "Manage"
then "edit" and go to the "Pro Service" section to set your keyword to be
ad-free.

In an attempt to make the paid service affordable to everyone we are
offering our customers who are affected by this a plan with 3 keywords
instead of just one for only $19* on our unlimited-messaging plans. To take
advantage of this discount please use the code SPRINT3.

Delivery of free ad-supported text messages to Sprint and Nextel
subscribers are scheduled to stop as of April 1st, 2011. We apologize for
this situation but it is entirely outside our control. We will keep you
posted on any developments or changes.

Regards,
Chris Neumann & the TextMarks Team
tmsu...@textmarks.com

This code will be valid until April 30th, and is only valid for customers
with a TextMarks lite account using our free, ad-supported service as of
March 23rd, 2011.

My service plan is via sprint.
Thank you for your response.
So, it seems that I will be completely unable to receive text messages from
onebusaway from now into the foreseeable future?
