Good morning-

Are the current install instrutions correct in requiring Debian 9 as the backend?

Im looking at setting up the platform.

Also what is the experimental region and whats required?

Brian,

For experimental regions, they are a way for deployers to make a new region available in the main OBA Android and iOS apps for testing, but the region isn't visible by default - you need to enable an option in app Settings to see it. This makes testing easier (you don't need to type a server URL into the app) for a larger group of people before you're ready for a public launch.
