Hi folks - I wanted to give you all a heads up that I just pointed regions.onebusaway.org away from the old Cloudfront/S3 bucket to a new source for serving up our apps’ regions files. I don’t anticipate any issues resulting from this (the data in the old bucket vs the new one is basically identical), but you should feel welcome to reach out if you have any concerns or notice any issues resulting from this.

Our developer, Amr, built a web UI for creating and managing regions, and I finished wiring up and testing connecting that work to a new bucket on Cloudflare’s R2 service this morning. This work replaces the Google Sheet we’ve used for 10(?) years to manage multiple regions.

Thanks to Cambridge Systematics for providing the S3 bucket and paying for this up until now.

Cheers,
Aaron

In the last day or so, I’m seeing that the trips coming back in trips-for-route in the data.list property all have predicted=false. Before that, there were several trips that had predicted=true. I had always thought, but not 100% sure, that predicted=true is necessary for a trip to have predictions for predictedArrivalTime and predictedDepartureTime. but now, even thought predicted=false, I still see predictedArrivalTime and so on. So I’m confused as to exactly what predicted=true (or false) tells us, AND why since this weekend there aren’t any predicted=true trips. Could this be a burp in the server somewhere? Or is this a new thing?

Thanks,
Drew Baden
