Hi there! Over the last few months, we’ve been hard at work enhancing and adding new features to OneBusAway, all to make your experience even better!

We've tackled crashes and improved many aspects of the app to keep things running smoothly. But we’re not done yet – we’d love to hear from YOU! Your suggestions and ideas have already shaped our improvements, and we’re excited to keep the conversation going.

We’re also thrilled to announce the release of a new beta version (version code 149) on Google Play! If you’re interested in getting early access to the latest features and improvements, you can join our beta program here. Your feedback will be invaluable as we continue to refine the app.

Have thoughts on how we can make OneBusAway even better? Interested in new features? Just reach out anytime at andro...@onebusaway.org Let’s make this app the best it can be, together!

Hi Amr and Aaron,
thanks a bunch for getting so much involved in the OBA. I'm looking forward to test out the new Android version. We're looking at it from the i18n side, as we're basing our efforts on polish language version of OBA, called KiedyBus.
From new features, I think it would sense to:
- add trip planning in more prominent place than just as an element in hamburger menu
- add in-vehicle updates for passenger that is on-route already (which route+headsign+trip id i'm currently on, which stops are coming next and when should i get out). Such view could also be used (as an API endpoint) to power on-board digital signage systems.

Regards,
Wojciech Kulesza
