i am using snapshot-2.0.0, trying to deploy the api-webapp and the federations-webapp

the api.log shows this error:

how can i define the cachemanager bean?

Can you post the data-sources.xml you are using for the api-webapp?

I only changed the data-sources.xml from /var/lib/tomcat7/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/data-sources.xml

Ok, in that case I suspect some issues with your data sources are
hiding the real error.

Try replacing the
onebusaway-api-webapp/WEB-INF/classes/data-sources.xml with this one:

Ok, something strange is going on. Can you undeploy the api-webapp,
and confirm that the onebusaway-transit-data-federatoin-webapp has
deployed successfully and loaded the bundle, and that you have no
other webapps deployed?

okay now the only webapp that is deployed is the federations-webapp. i am now getting the same error in the catalina.out which has been in the api.log before.

When you say "federations-webapp", can you confirm that you mean
"onebusaway-transit-data-federations-webapp"?
