Witnessing The Power of Forgiveness:
My Journey To Sierra Leone

Overview:

As a student of ACIM I will lead off with the various places in the
book where forgiveness is discussed and the importance placed on
forgiveness.


I will explain how my journey to Sierra Leone to join with Fambul Tok
came about. A short history of the war in Sierra Leone follows so the
listeners understand the depth of forgiveness needed. Next will be
the story of the organization called Fambul Tok (Family Talk in the
local language of Krio), how and why it was formed and including
quotes from John Caulker, the founder. There will be success stories
the Power of Forgiveness and Reconciliation has brought to the
villages and thus the country.

How the people, especially the women, have been empowered and what
they are doing for themselves, their children and villages to improve
their lives. While there I witnessed many wonderful events and I will
share two of the most moving. The stories of how Fambul Tok is
adapting their process and successfully using it in schools in the US
and England is the next step in their evolution to heal the country.


In closing I'll lead the listeners in a meditation using visualization
and forgiveness.


Sara Waldheim's Bio:
Sara Waldheim has had over 30 years of gathering and learning various
methods of self improvement, energy healing and spiritual awakenings.
Among her studies are: astrology, numerology, Chakra balancing and
meditation, Reikki, Healing Touch, Rising Star Healing, Pranic
Healing, various visualization and meditation techniques, ACIM,
Ascended Masters and Archangels, and animal communication. She still
continues to learn while she teaches and heals both herself and
others.

The journey is transforming and never ending. One of Sara's favorite
sayings is "Embrace the mystery wherein all possibilities exist". In
Sierra Leone she learned what it is to just "be" and shine her light.
She learned that this is powerful both for herself and others.
"Allowing" and "Being" opens doors to manifestation like no other.
When it comes to forgiveness she embraces this quote: "There is a hard
law.

Daisies aren't food. They're weeds! And ego has plenty of weedy ideas
it would like us to gobble up. Some of these ideas are tricky, because
they seem righteous but they are blocks to Love's presence. True
forgiveness has no ideas of good & bad (daisy) and no ideas about what
truth is (daisy). True forgiveness lets go of everything. It kneels
naked before God with nothing but lilies. We'll look at ideas that may
seem right or spiritual, but they maintain the beliefs of separation,
false self, and world.
