June Meetup @dubLUDO - Tuesday June 25th

Good news everyone!

This month we are combining our meetup with the dubLUDO event. It has a very similar theme (show off your games and play other people's) and will let us all show off our creations to a bigger audience!

It will be on Tuesday June 25th in Gamespace in the IFSC. They have a facebook event page here, so feel free to join that:

As always you will have the opportunity to

- meet your fellow 1GAM'ers 

- show off your game & play other people's games

- catch the theme announcement for next month

- enjoy a beer (or two) (BYOB in gamespace, but there is a spar directly across the road)

All are welcome. Bring a laptop if you want to show off what you have built, or just bring yourself if you want to hang out and chat.

Cool, I'll actually be able make this meetup! and, hopefully, will also have a game to show! Likely going to try a short text-based adventure game with a mother-like battle system, nothing too ambitious!

Unlike against the grain there is unfortunately no bar, but on the plus side you can bring your own beers. There's even a shop across the road to make things easy.

I'm going to be there from around 6.30 pm, and will try and nab a sideroom to set up 1GAM'ers in. Hope to see you all there and look forward to seeing some finished games / playable prototypes / rough works-in-progress / anything! If you want to bring something you made in previous months that would also be great because there will be a big crowd of dubLUDO folk to show it off to.

Meetup is today! 

Unfortunately I've had to abandon my June entry after wrestling with a new framework (Phaser + TypeScript) for a few days and losing. Though most of all I just started waaaay too late in the month..

I will however be bringing my May game (Captains of Industry) which has recently been professionally printed.
