September was a huge bust for me. Got swamped in work and didn't get to implement either of the two ideas I had, so they're going back in the pile (for 'pile', you should read 'huge-ass google doc I write down any game ideas I might have) for another day.

For October, I'm kind of ignoring the theme because it's hard to market something when you haven't actually finished a game!). Instead, I'm pulling another idea out of the pile. This time, I'm doing - as Colm so eloquently pitched in the 1GAM chat room - a "murder mystery game with retro isometric style". Basically, Murder for the Amiga (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNfv9DvVfDU), only not broken.

I'm prototyping this in Love2D, because it's such a great tool for banging stuff out with (even threde lines will display *something* on screne). Hopefully, I'll get a chance to re-engineer it in OpenFL, because I'm really looking for a good excuse to try that out.
