Hi,
The Oncotree Primary Disease for the NCI-H854 cell line is annotated as Colorectal Adenocarcinoma (according to DepMap), but Human Protein Atlas has it as non-small cell lung cancer.
Is there a justification for why NCI-H854 is annotated as a colorectal cancer in Oncotree?
Thanks,
William

Hi William,
DepMap and other sources are using OncoTree as an ontology for disease classification; OncoTree itself is not assigning any annotations to the samples. From the history in DepMap, this case in 2019 was NSCLC (see attached). Looks like they updated it to COAD. I would check with DepMap for clarification.
