Canadian Monarchs Now Ranked Under S.A.R.A. as "Endangered"

Monarch butterflies are now ranked under Canada’s Species at Risk Act as "Endangered". Two provinces opposed this decision. Will the provincial government under our Ontario Species at Risk Act follow suit? Apparently this decision was made on December 8 and was published in the December 20 issue of the Canada Gazette. Limitations or restrictions for those of us engaged in community science projects? Federal move impacts federally-governed lands.
