Passing of J. Donald Lafontaine

I was informed this afternoon that noted entomologist J. Donald Lafontaine, co-author of Butterflies of Canada, passed away today in Civic Hospital in Ottawa. We met with the other authors at an official release of this book held in Ottawa at the Canadian Museum of Nature. No doubt a public announcement will be made soon.
