Need some good news? Any increase in monarch population is encouraging. Up 99%. They are resilient but also vulnerable. Most are heading north now from the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve and will find limited milkweeds and nectar sources in drought-stricken Texas. https://monarchconservation.org/monarch-winter-2024-2025-population-numbers-released
