Variegated Fritillary, Toronto

I saw this fritillary on my walk through the neighbourhood this morning. It was nectaring on dandelion in someone's front yard. No camera. I took two quick shots with my iPhone before it conked out. Went back later with a camera, but no dice. I'm thinking that if this butterfly showed up in an urban environment such as East York, it might also start to appear in wilder habitats in southern Ontario.
