In all my years (50+) visiting Bestview Park I've never seen a giant swallowtail in the upper park, until today that is! When I first saw it, it was being harassed by tiger swallowtails in the canopy but we (my son and I) got a definite id when it finally landed about twenty feet off the ground. We also saw a few mourning cloaks, a red admiral, an eastern comma, some skippers and blues.
