Yesterday, Mar. 12, 2024 I found one Compton Tortoiseshell at the tree sap on a lovely afternoon walk at Bestview Park, Toronto, ON..This breaks my previous earliest sighting of Mar. 19, 2012 at this same park when it was a lifer species!
