Tried installing through record file -- >>Ra_Auto.ini,but cancel button is prompting during installation and Finish button is prompted after installation.Also, all the components are not getting installed through this method.
Uninstallation is not clean and this package installs 23 MSIs and 19 Drivers.
Installing MSIs one by one doesn't solve the problem either as its doesn't install all the MSIs.
This application also installs SQL Server 2008.
Any suggestions???
- Install any of the pre-requisites, e.g. SQL Server. I can practically guarantee there will be Visual C++ runtimes required, too, so install those. Keep them as separate entities, away from your 'main' installation package.
- Clear your %TEMP% and %SystemRoot%\TEMP locations
- Enable MSI logging
- Restart the VM (you are using VMs/VPCs, right?)
- Run the installer
- %TEMP% will now contain a whole bunch of LOG files prefixed 'MSI'. Examine each of these in turn to determine what properties are used during the installation. You can then use those properties in your transforms. The date/time stamp will also provide a handily-sorted execution order.
The API requires a license installation for every project on the SIMATIC BATCH project server.Without an API license, writing operations to the SIMATIC BATCH system will be blocked and an error will be returned.

The Simatic Batch Bridge can be started as a Windows service when correctly installed.It can also be started directly by calling the "SimaticBatchBridge.exe" file. In this case, the Windows service has to be stopped in advance.

In this article, we will explore the new SALT licensing model, which includes new licensing software with an installer, new license files, and a new API to check out both legacy and SALT licenses. While exploring the new licensing model, we will also discuss some known issues users may encounter when migrating to SALT and provide some insight to help guide you through the transition.
Whether installing the Siemens License Server for the first time or upgrading from a previous version (SPLM or SLS), the Siemens License Server v2.1 installer will guide you through the installation and configuration of the license server. Download the platform-specific Siemens License Server v2.1 software from the Siemens License Server product center (Figure 2).

To install a copy of the Siemens InfoHub manuals for HyperLynx, download both the HelpServer executable and the docs-vx file from the same location where you found the HyperLynx archive on the CMC website. Click on the HelpServer executable first to install it. Do not change its default port settings, and do not allow HelpServer to be accessible over a network.
When the HelpServer installation is done, click on the docs-vx executable. It will proceed to add the InfoHub tutorials and manuals on your workstation. These documents can be searched and opened in a browser, as shown in Figure 8.
