select_one_from_file on ODK Collect App not working

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the select_one_from_file function. When using this in my form, the web form works, but when I download the form on ODK Collect and go to 'Fill Blank Form' it is not there. Thus it appears to have downloaded but have not.

What version of ODK Collect are you using?
Are you receiving an error message when downloading the form? If yes, please share a screenshot of the error
Please share the project, in which the form is located, with onasupport and assign a Can Submit permission level to enable us to look into the issue. Once you have shared the project, please let us know the account name, project name, and form title.

Kindly confirm if you have shared the project with onasupport I have tried to access your account and it seems onasupport does not have access to any of your projects.

Please see this guide on how to share the project, with onasupport and assign different permission level to enable us to look into the issue.

Can you try again please?

Side question - am I correct in saying that there are no permission levels on form level - only project level. So restricting certain forms from certain users.

Hello Jenny,

I have gone through the form and CSV file and they seem to be okay. However it seems that the CSV file attached is not UTF-8 encoded. To have CSV have UTF-8 encoded, you will need to upload the CSV to Google Drive and open it on Google Sheet, then download it as CSV file and DO NOT open it in Excel. Upload the CSV file you downloaded from Google Sheet
Another thing I added to the CSV file is the list_name column.
Find the attached CSV file that I used to test the issue from my end.

Yes. That is correct. We do not have permissions at the form level; all project sharing and assigning of permissions happens at the project level. However, at the form level, we have a role-based permission restrictions feature that can be applied to Can submit and Can edit roles to determine access to data. Have a look at this documentation for more information on this feature and let me know if you have more questions.
