Hi Ona community,

I tried to upload my first xlsform into ona server and I have the message below

"ODK Validate Errors: >> Something broke the parser. See above for a hint. org.javarosa.xpath.XPathUnsupportedException: XPath evaluation: unsupported construct [filter expression] Result: Invalid"

kindly help me to the real matter.

Hello Jboco,  The error message is thrown when uploading your form because it contains very many syntax errors for example;  A wrong relevant condition on row 39 - it creates a dependency cycle since it's referring to the same field. Delete it  Spaces in some field names in the choices work sheet e.g. niveau_etudeCM_list = secondaire cycle 2 & secondaire cycle 1, lieu_defectat_enf_list = spaces in field names and some are too long Some field names in the choices worksheet are too long exceeding the character limit (32 characters) e.g. type_latrine_list , gestboues_vidge, rntraitment_eau, restants_mangé_list  Some field names in the choices worksheet have apostrophes which is a special character Row 245 has a relevant condition that creates a dependency cycle - Some variables reference to this field. Edit it or delete it.  Make the above changes then try uploading the form again. Check to confirm that all field names under the name column are formatted correctly and that all relevant conditions are correct before uploading the form.  Regards, Faith See our community forum & help site for more information!
