I thank you for your response letting me know that ODK Collect is the best application that can be used until now to collect data.
Regarding the message, I realized that it was not regarding the shutdown of ODK Collect, but specifically regarding the ODK Build Website, which is different from the ODK Collect App.
I appreciate your cooperation.

Subject: Action required: ODK Build will permanently shut down on Feb 1st, 2024

gnoz...@gmail.com>
We are emailing because you have used ODK Build to create a data collection form at https://build.getodk.org.
On Feb 1st, 2024, we will permanently shut down the Build website and delete all user-created forms on that server. Please export your forms to XLSForm as soon as possible.
We are taking these actions because:
- Build has a shrinking user-base (~800/month) and we believe our XLSForm template and XLSForm tutorial can serve the majority of those users. We will provide more tutorials and guides over time.
- Build's core code has not received meaningful updates in the last few years. Any ODK app that is not being updated is a security risk.
- It would take a lot of resources to bring Build up-to-date and to add the longitudinal data collection and case management features we are working on (watch demo video).
Here is the timeline for the shutdown:
- Nov 1st, 2023: Email every Build account holder and ask them to export their forms to XLSForm.
- Dec 1st, 2023: Disable new account creation on the Build site.
- Feb 1st, 2024: Shut down the Build site and delete all site data.
We will update Build's documentation and code repository to inform users that it is no longer being updated. The source code will always be available for anyone who wishes to use it.
Over its lifetime, Build has helped 113K users create 226K forms! It is an extraordinary achievement, and we would like to thank Issa for creating Build 14 years ago and for maintaining it for so long.
We know that having an easy-to-use form builder is important and we remain committed to reducing all barriers to building forms in ODK. Stay up-to-date on our progress by signing up on the community forum.
Thanks,
The ODK team
