Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you and your team. We always recommend our user have all data collectors submit all submission prior to replacing a form. You can try replacing the current form (update) with the previous version and see if users are able to submit.
If the above doesn't work, you can use ODK Briefcase to submit the data manually. In this case, you will need to get the data from the devices (Android 10 and below) by copying the ODK folders from the devices and paste them to a computer by following the steps below:
- Connect the mobile device to your computer using a USB cable;
- Open the ODK folder to your mobile device using Windows Explorer (in Windows) or Android File Transfer (on Mac);
- Copy the entire ODK folder (where it is located and what is is called is dependent on the Android version) , then paste it to a folder in your computer.
Once you have the ODK folder ready, upload the data manually using ODK Briefcase by following the steps below;
- Install ODK Briefcase as explained in the ODK Briefcase guide.
- Open ODK Briefcase. On the Pull tab, click on the drop-down menu to the right of Pull data from and choose Custom Path to ODK Directory; (do not select Aggregate server this only works if you're pulling data from a server)
- Click on the Choose button. In the window that opens, select the ODK folder that was copied onto your computer;
- You can then select the form to pull the data from;
