THE DALLAS SEEN:

As usual many of Dallas’ greatest were sighted on and off the Avenue last week!  Many were actually sighted in Chicago!  Here are just a few of those sightings!

There were numerous famous sightings the last few weeks!  Here are just a few of those!

On June 27th, several of us ventured to the great city of Chicago to attend the Old St. Pat’s Block Party!  That Friday Keith “The Navigator” Mabrey (H.O.F.#6), Peter Krogulski from Dallas and John Nagler from Chicago made appearances! A great crowd turned out to hear some good bands.

On July 4th, a large contingent of Dallas’ most prominent turned out at Julie “Jewels” McGowan and the Mayor of Gaston Avenue’s (H.O.F.#) abode for a grilling and drinking Fourth. There were way too many greats to mention, but here are just a few who were sighted. They included Dr. Joe, Mary Waters, Lisa S. and Eric, Kevin “The Griller” Wilbanks, Tony G! (H.O.F.#147) – the Captain of the Fourth Ward, Amy and “Corleone”, the Mayor of Midway Road and Wolfe Pack Leader (H.O.F.#132) and Billy Hartwell! Later that evening on the rooftop of my building Bowie Ballard, Erminio Lalli and Amelia Lalli helped finish off a great Fourth with fireworks watching!

On July 12th weekend Chicago again was the scene of famous sightings!  Pam “BBBRRR” Resvine (H.O.F.#121) from Dallas was at the Cubs game. At the Irish Festival on Saturday “Fitz”, Mickey, Jeff Grabowski and Kathryn Bramlitt Grabowski (H.O.F.#130) showed up for a great time!

Last weekend, still another busy Chicago weekend produced many sightings including “Snatchsquach”, “Horn-E”, “Fuji” and many other famous TH3 members who were sighted at Big Joe’s! On Saturday, Suzy Barker from Denver was the number fan of our volleyball team at the CSSC Volleywood Tournament on North Avenue Beach! Playing on our team were John Nagler, Marcie Allison, Linda Wolf, Chris McLaughlin and yours truly!  It was great weather and a lot of fun!
