FOR WEDNESDAY 6/18/14 – HAPPY HOUR – GOODFRIEND BEER GARDEN – 5 PM
OFF THE AVENUE – It’s Goose Island Migration week – Home Brewer Happy Hour as one of the most successful craft breweries in the Midwest is celebrating the craft beer boom by “migrating” to Dallas and hosting a slew of events. If you’re a thirsty adult, join Goose Island from 5 to 7 PM for its Migration Week: Happy Hour at Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House. Don’t miss the chance to try established brews as well as new favorites – including Bourbon County Brand Stout, The Ogden and Madame Rose – and to find out the story behind the Chicago – based brewery. Goodfriend Beer Garden is located 1154 Peavy Rd. 75218.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
The legendary Dallas Becomes Chicago Pub Crawl returns! Save the date – Saturday July 26th! This will be the 12th annual event. The fun remains, but there will be big changes and improvements to make this an even better experience!
UPDATE! Payment information is available now, and if you are on one of the many initiations you will now be able to go in and pay and reserve your spot on the train! Entry fees are to be paid in advance this year. It is important to reserve early, especially if you want one of the awesome looking blue T-shirts, and participants will be limited on size this year!
This is the original and only annually held Dallas Pub Crawl that is done by utilizing the light rail! Join us as we turn Dallas into Chicago for one night only, as we ride the DART train from bar to bar. Two of your original hosts return with the Mayor of Greenville Avenue and Tony G! – the Captain of the Fourth Ward! But this year “Chicago” Pete joins us as a host to bring in more Chicago ideas! More details to follow!

THE DALLAS SEEN:
As usual many of Dallas’ greatest were sighted on and off the Avenue last week! Here are just a few of those sightings!
Last Friday evening, several of Dallas’ prominent were sighted watching the hockey game at one of the hottest spots in town – the Katy Trail Ice House! Present were Pete Krogulski and Eddie D! (H.O.F.#141)!
