Is it a slow time events wise in Dallas or what? I haven’t received much on any new events, and that is why I didn’t even send a newsletter out last week.

FOR FRIDAY 6/13/14 – LATE NIGHT HH – KATY TRAIL ICE HOUSE – 9:30ISH PM
OFF THE AVENUE – It’s not the best of days being Friday the 13th, but that’s make the best of it! Early in the evening everyone can do their own thing with friends, and then meet your other Late Night friends at the Katy Trail Ice House for a traditional Friday Late Night Happy Hour! The Katy Trail Ice House is located at 3136B Routh St. 75201. (The Mayor of Greenville Avenue will make an appearance.)

UPCOMING EVENTS:
The legendary Dallas Becomes Chicago Pub Crawl returns! Save the date – Saturday July 26th! This will be the 12th annual event. The fun remains, but there will be big changes and improvements to make this an even better experience!
This is the original and only annually held Dallas Pub Crawl that is done by utilizing the light rail! Join us as we turn Dallas into Chicago for one night only, as we ride the DART train from bar to bar. Two of your original hosts return with the Mayor of Greenville Avenue and Tony G! – the Captain of the Fourth Ward! But this year “Chicago” Pete joins us as a host to bring in more Chicago ideas! More details to follow!

THE DALLAS SEEN:
As usual many of Dallas’ greatest were sighted on and off the Avenue last week! Here are just a few of those sightings from two Sundays ago!
The place to be recently was at Chris O’Hagan’s 50th birthday toast at Trinity Hall on Sunday June 1st! It was an unbelievable turnout with several rare and stunning appearances! Here are just a few of those who showed up. Making appearances were Ward Captains – Randy “The Enforcer” Wright, “Captain Coincidental” and Tony G! Others included Samantha Best, Eddie D. (H.O.F.#141), the Mayor of Gaston Avenue (H.O.F.#137), Julie “Jewels” McGowan, Ken “Otter” Ott, Gary “Jerry Jones” Rugoff, “Corleone” Cline, the O’Hagan clan including his peeps, “Showtime”, “Deadhead”, “Peaches”, John Wilson, Laura “O’Hagan Rules” Mawhinney, Leanne Murray, Maureen Murphy and many more! The most dramatic appearance was a very rare appearance by my Consigliere and his family! Wow!
