SAS Community Garden Rules

As we are establishing our garden we feel it's important to establish Common Ground Rules. Once a consensus is reached, we will post this rules in English and Spanish viewable to all.

 

Please feel free to add your suggestions. We would like to have this agreed on in the next few days so we can have this translated into Spanish and printed. Also, if you'd like to be added as a contact person please speak up so that your name and email address can be added.

COMMON GROUND

 

The People’s Garden

 

RULES

 

(1) Garden plots must be maintained and weed free.

 

(2) All organic refuse, such as weeds, must be moved to the designated area toward the back of the garden.

 

(3) Gardening tools must be returned to its rightful owner. Tools belonging to the garden should be secured in garden’s shed.

 

(4) Please keep the garden neat and clean.

 

(5) Pets will be allowed in the garden as long as they are supervised.

 

(6) Small children are allowed under adult supervision.

 

(7) Only organic fertilizer and soil augmentation is permitted.

 

(8) Only organic pest management techniques and products are permitted.

 

(9) All non-organic trash must be disposed of separately from organic trash.

 

(10)   Please respect your neighbors.

 

(11)   No smoking is allowed in the garden.
