We are seeking support for our Farm to Table Co-op, a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program introduced in 2018 to expand healthy food access in Newark. This initiative allows the Newark community to feed itself and fosters a closer connection between residents and their food sources.

Through this program:
Impact: Memberships are structured to supply produce packages for 20 weeks (June through October), providing 2 to 4 people per package. By serving 100 families, this equates to approximately 400 people served for 20 weeks, resulting in 8,000 pounds of additional healthy food access.
Accessibility: With financial support from foundations, private donors, and government agencies, the standard membership fee of $550 is waived for all participants.
Operations: The program aggregates and distributes fresh produce weekly from community gardens and local farms directly to Newark community members.
