Business development and grant writing workshops for historically underserved farmers/farming communities.
Since 2023, under the guidance of Jacqueleen Bido, Ed.D., CEO of Bidoism and Chief Strategy Officer of Newark Science and Sustainability, Inc., with the support of Nagisa Manabe, the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (NOFA-NJ), and Whole Foods Market Foundation (Whole Cities), we’ve been conducting business development and grant writing workshops along with agricultural training for historically underserved farmers/farming communities.

It is our goal to nurture a new generation of growers and ecopreneurs by providing relevant information and the necessary tools to insure a more equitable and inclusive food system in New Jersey. With the support of grants and donations, we've been able to offer this program free and open to the public. The impact of this year’s workshops is noteworthy and warrants sharing. We hope that you can help us keep this initiative going in 2025.
