I just had a meeting with a nonprofit involved in state legislature (s-2371), basically because PSEG wants to stop private sector jobs and homeowners installing solar they have decided to fulfill the state mandated solar on their own by hanging these street poles and therefore it forces homeowners, schools and municipalities to be ineligible and puts everyone out of work because PSEG fills the quota of the contract on their own.
I’m Interested in starting a petition/protest to demand the S2371 legislature to deny the utilities opportunity to steal the jobs from the state RPS (Renewable Portfolio Standard) by not allowing them to participate in the state mandated contract so that homeowners can install solar and we can have private sector jobs instead of them bringing in out of state labor to steal the work and denying homeowners the chance to install solar.
