This is a friendly reminder that Whole Cities’ Newark Fresh, Healthy Food Access Grant application will close on Thursday, February 28th at 11:59pm CST.

Non-profits that broaden access to healthy food and nutrition education in Newark are invited to apply for grants up to $15,000. Whole Cities Foundation partners with organizations that nourish Newark residents through community gardens, urban farms, healthy cooking classes, and other innovative food access projects. We’ll be reviewing applications with The Newark Community Food System and determining grant awardees by the sustainability of their projects and alignment with our mission. We hope to support projects in all 5 wards.
