V. Elegant Bouquet Kitchen (founded by Charlene Messer based in Irvington, NJ) – The From Garden to Kitchen program involves wellness and nutrition education, which includes learning how to properly read labels and better understand food science so participants are equipped with the necessary tools to make healthier food choices and prepare nutritional meals, including vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Through the practice of canning, the best methods of food preservation will be explored. This program is a collaboration between Newark SAS and Elegant Bouquet Kitchen [EBK]. We are planning to launch this program in late spring/early summer 2014.
