In response to the unrelenting disease of senseless violence plaguing cities across America, particularly Newark, NJ, the National Action Network (NAN), the Peoples Organization for Progress (POP), and the Newark Anti-Violence Coalition (NAVC) are calling the people for mass action. On Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:00pm in the middle of the intersections of Broad and Market Streets in Newark, NJ, there will be a massive anti-violence rally. We are asking the people to lie down in the streets for peace to force all stakeholders to take a vested interest in helping to stop the violence.

 

All permits have been secured for this demonstration. I have attached the official flyer for the event to this email. 

 

If you can't make it, please spread the word to all of your networks. We must find an unified strategy to save our babies, stop the violence, and create peace in our communities!
