Hey Tobias,

Great seeing you last Friday! I just wanted to share that we're doing local candidate endorsements, and would love to be able to get more in different areas! Would you be able to share this with anyone who's running in Newark, or maybe the NCFS?

The New Jersey League of Conservation Voters (New Jersey LCV) is the political voice for the environment. We are a bipartisan, statewide organization dedicated to holding elected officials accountable for actions that impact our precious natural resources, and for uplifting strong environmental policies and local environmental champions.

As part of this work, we offer campaign endorsements to local (municipal or County) candidates seeking election or re-election. If you would like to be considered for endorsement, we ask you to fill out our questionnaire, linked below, after which you will be contacted by staff for a brief discussion about your campaign. Our bipartisan political committee and C4 board vote on our endorsements, which are announced in September.

The questionnaire helps us assess your campaign and support for a wide range of environmental policies. You do not need to respond yes to every question to receive endorsement. Voters know that candidates endorsed by LCV can be counted on to represent their interests when it comes to protecting and restoring New Jersey's environment and communities.

Thank you for taking the time to share important information about your election and your commitment to the environment. At this time we are only accepting applications to local (municipal/County) offices in November 2023. (We do not endorse in school board, County Sheriff, or Surrogate elections. Thank you for your understanding.)

Please submit your questionnaire no later than August 31, 2023 to be considered for endorsement.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to infor...@njlcv.org

Thank you for all you do,

--
