The Newark Community Food System (NCFS) is a network of growers across Newark, NJ, dedicated to empowering residents to reshape their food system and take control of their health and environment.
We have released a statement regarding the freeze on SNAP benefits, highlighting the significant impact this decision will have on low-income families who rely on these monthly benefits for nutritious food.
With the support of our community, including local and state legislatures, food producers throughout New Jersey can help those in need and work towards ending food insecurity.
