Two Great + FREE Events this Thursday: Walking Tour of Historic Military Park District (2-4 pm) and Newark Museum Late Thursday (6-9 pm)

Hi Everyone, if you’re available, please come out this Thursday from 2-4 pm for a curated tour of historic Military Park and several historic buildings around the Park:  Hahne, 15 Washington, the Peddie Memorial Church (with Tiffany windows—amazing place!), the Verizon/NJ Bell building (opening up just for us), with networking at BURG after the event.  Meet at the carousel at 2 pm.  This event is co-sponsored by Preservation NJ, the NJ Chapter of the APA, and the Newark Preservation and Landmarks Committee.  Tour guides/organizers include myself, Anne Englot, Ulana Zakalak, Courtenay Mercer, Liz del Tufo, Zemin Zhang. 

 

Then come over to the Newark Museum for the second, Late Thursday from 6-9 pm; a celebration of sound and art, with interactive projects, beer and wine and snacks.  Both events are free.  Parking for a fee under Military Park or in the Newark Museum parking lot.  Hope to see you there!
